Dear Friends: thank you for your continued willingness to serve in worship. We’ve been exploring the best way for everyone to sign up easily, and we wanted to share an important update.

Recently, we discovered that both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel require users to download their respective apps in order to edit a shared spreadsheet on mobile devices. Since not everyone wants (or is able) to install extra apps, this created accessibility issues for some of our volunteers. We also tested Jotform as an alternative, but a few users experienced difficulties there as well. Sign-Up Genius presented navigation issues for some because of the platform’s ads on the pages.

We’re now returning to a spreadsheet-based system — but on a new platform that allows editing directly in your mobile or desktop browser without needing to download any app. Hopefully, this process should be smoother for everyone.

Below is a short visual guide showing how to use the spreadsheet on a mobile device. If you're using a laptop or desktop, navigation should be very straightforward.
